This cosily-decorated, practical apartment is right in the centre of Samoëns – perfect for a family holiday in the heart of the Alps.
Samoëns, which was elected in 2021 as the most beautiful village in Haute-Savoie, is famous for the way it has preserved its culture and environment while catering for the needs of guests. You'll find a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants, delicatessens and supermarkets, as well as ski and bike hire.
The area offers a wide range of year-round activities, including hiking, climbing, paragliding, rafting and other water sports. The Lac aux Dames leisure centre is just a 5-minute walk away from Lodge Sami, as is the Grand Massif Express ski lift.
A free shuttle bus stops 500 metres from the building and links Samoëns to the slopes of Morillon and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. The Grand Massif ski area offers 265km of pistes for all levels and a modern lift system which will get you into the mountains in no time.
About the property…
Lodge Sami is a stylish Alpine cocoon for six, on the ground floor of an apartment building in the centre of the Samoëns.
The hallway leads to a WC and three individually-decorated double bedrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have two single mattresses in a large double bed frame. These beds can be made up with kingsize bedding or with two single duvets, according to your preferences. Opposite the bedrooms are the two bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a bath. The bathroom also has a washing machine with a dryer.
The open-plan living area has a cosy lounge with sofa, armchairs and television, a round dining table for six, as well as a modern, well-equipped kitchen.
This room opens onto a small terrace with a flat, secure garden, equipped with sun beds and a second dining table. This garden overlooks the valley and is bordered by a field, ensuring your privacy. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of activities and enjoy breathtaking sunsets.
About the area…
Samoëns and the Grand Massif area offer a multitude of activities to enjoy all year round.
The ski area links the slopes of Samoëns with those of Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, giving a total of 265km of pistes and an excellent network of ski lifts. Snowfalls are regular and plentiful, and 80% of the pistes are north-facing, so you're bound to find a challenge to suit you.
Experienced skiers, for example, can tackle the Combe de Gers, which has a drop of 800m.
Outside the ski season, the region offers hiking, cycling and paragliding in the mountains, and water sports on the Giffre river. The Lac aux Dames leisure area is perfect for a family day out, with an outdoor swimming pool and discovery trails, as well as fishing, tennis, padel and bowling.
Keen gardeners and botanists will love the Jaÿsinia Alpine Botanical Garden in Samoëns, which celebrates mountain flora from around the world. This four-hectare garden, which is open all year round, is laid out on a hillside, but the climb to the top is rewarded with breathtaking views over the valley and the ruins of a medieval castle.
The village of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, less than 10 minutes' drive away from Lodge Sami, is also worth a visit. With its natural amphitheatre of limestone cliffs, it has been named one of the most beautiful villages in France. It is also the starting point for whitewater rafting and a via ferrata course.

Lodge Sami is a real little Alpine hideaway, perfect for a family break. On the ground floor of a building in the heart of the charming village of Samoëns, it offers comfort and convenience for six people.
A hallway leads to the three double bedrooms, which share a bathroom and a shower room, one of which has a washer-dryer. A separate toilet is just off the entrance hall.
The bright, friendly living room has a cosy seating area with a sofa and armchairs in front of the TV. There’s also a lovely round table where you can share a meal, as well as a modern, fully-equipped kitchen.
You can enjoy the fresh Alpine air from a terrace that extends into a small, flat garden. Relax on the sunbeds or enjoy a meal at the second dining table, which overlooks a grassy area.

Hello!
After a long search, we finally found our ideal holiday home – a place with something to offer in every season. For us, Samoëns turned out to be the perfect base: in winter, you can fully enjoy the extensive ski area, and in summer, there are countless activities like hiking, cycling, and rafting.
The area is also ideal for mountain biking, paragliding, or simply exploring the alpine trails on foot.
Samoëns itself is a charming village with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. You'll find plenty of cosy restaurants and sunny terraces – perfect for enjoying a local meal or a drink after an active day.
Lodge Sami is a spacious apartment with a west-facing garden, offering views over the valley and beautiful sunsets.
We've done our best to make it cosy and comfortable for everyone. We hope it feels just as special to you as it does to us – a place to unwind and be active, all year round.

Thank you so much for staying at your apartment. We visited Samoëns for the first time, and what a wonderful surprise it was.
First of all, this fantastic house, beautifully and exquisitely furnished, equipped with every possible comfort, even with two bathrooms and a wonderful terrace.
Every evening, we dined with the sunset and the fantastic view.
The town of Samoëns has all the amenities, wonderful bakeries, butchers and restaurants. But don’t forget the surroundings, we enjoyed swimming in the lake or river every day, mountain biking along the river, to the source, and the beautiful Cirque de Fer à Cheval.
The unique combination of this apartment and Samoëns is something we want to experience every year!!
“Active Family Holidays in the Heart of Samoëns”
Lodge Sami is a wonderful place for a family vacation. We spent 10 lovely days in Samoëns in July. The apartment is perfectly located on the edge of town, within walking distance of the swimming lake, the municipal outdoor pool (which had a very low entrance fee), and the town center. The house is very well equipped, and we enjoyed many barbecue evenings on the terrace, watching the sunset over the mountains. In the basement, there is a garage with an electric door and a locked bike room. The lake was a pleasant 23°C and was used frequently, as was the newly built skate park, which our boys absolutely loved. The town of Samoëns is very charming, with cozy shops, cafés, and restaurants. We brought our road bikes and enjoyed scenic rides up Col de Joux Plane and up the valley to Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. We’ll be back!
